Spring Jazz in the Park - Starting in May, the strains of jazz can be heard floating through the park throughout the summer. Free admission draws a picnic crowd, although others prefer to sample the local food and wine. Jazz acts cover a range from local to national acts.
Summer Governor's Cup Race Weekend - The Milwaukee Mile sees more than 200 stock car teams of the finest short-track late-model racers competing on this exciting weekend. For an interactive driving simulation, visitors can also visit the Mobile Mile.
Autumn Milwaukee's Lakefront Marathon - In October, Veterans Park hosts both individual runners and five-person relay teams. Runners enjoy this flat run with the beautiful neighborhoods along Lake Michigan forming an attractive backdrop to the marathon.
Winter Indian Summer Festival's Winter Pow-Wow - The Native Americans invite the public to celebrate their culture and friendship during this March extension of the summer festival. This is a great event to witness traditional Native American songs and dancing.
